The week 11 encounter between Great Olympics and Aduana Stars was brought to an abrupt end due to torrential downpour at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Officials ignored the dark cloud and refused to postpone the match as they blew the whistle for the commencement of the game.
However, in the 33rd minute, referee Kenny Padi in consultation with match commissioner Agyiri Barnor, including representatives from both sides decided to bring the game to a premature close.
The decision was greeted with derision by the fans who travelled to the game at Accra Sports Stadium.
