22 May 1998 The Greater Accra Regional branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has inaugurated its youth executive in Accra. It has Mr Albert Afaglo as chairman, Mr Latif Amanor, vice chairman, Mr Kofi Adade Mintah, secretary, and Mr Evans Baidoo, assistant secretary. Others are Mr Ebo Mends, press secretary, Mr Adu Gyamfi, treasurer, and Mr Issaka Malik, financial secretary. In an address, Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, regional chairman of the party appealed to the executives to work assiduously towards the realisation of the party's dream to win future elections. He urged them to pursue achievable objectives and desist from acts that would not benefit the party. Mr Afaglo thanked members of the party and gave the assurance that, with their continued support and loyalty, the party could win the general elections in the year 2000.
