A coalition of concerned citizens is organising a protest on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, to demand the removal of Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng.

According to a report by citinewsroom.com, the group cites a perceived failure by Agyebeng to effectively perform his duties.

Apostle Abraham Larbi Lincoln, the Lead Convener of the demonstration, stated on Monday, November 24, that they are appealing to President John Dramani Mahama to dismiss the Special Prosecutor.

He emphasised that the protest, themed “Agro Ne Fom,” aims to highlight what the group considers inefficiency within the Office of the Special Prosecutor.

“We will be dressed in red, and we will present our case. If he doesn’t listen, then we will understand the kind of person he is. We are marching straight to the Jubilee House to petition the president,” Lincoln said.

He further added that the group's concerns are not personal; they do not harbor any animosity toward Agyebeng, but rather seek either a complete overhaul of the office or its dissolution, including the removal of all staff.

To add to the controversy, private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu revealed that fifteen separate petitions have been filed seeking Agyebeng's removal, indicating a growing public discontent.

“As we speak, there are 15 petitions to remove Kissi Agyebeng. When was the last time you heard of anyone subject to Article 146 proceedings having 15 petitions filed against them? That tells you that something is wrong,” Kpebu stated, the report stated.

The demonstration is planned to conclude with the submission of a formal petition to President Mahama at the Jubilee House.
