Harriet Kyeremanteng Oppong, NPP commiserate with Nananom of Nkoranza Traditional Area

About a month ago, the traditional council of Nkoranza announced the sudden demise of the Omanhemaa of Nkoranza.

A one-week observation in commemoration of the late Queen Mother was held on Monday, 22nd April 2024.

In the early hours of Monday, the 22nd, a great and colourful gathering was held at Gyeduakrase at Nkoranzafie for a mass service by the Anglican Church of Nkoranza in honour of the late Nana Adutwumwaa Dudaa Kani. In attendance were Nananom of Nkoranza Traditional Area, Local Council of Churches, Institutions and residents of Nkoranza.

Parliamentary candidate of Nkoranza South NPP, Harriet Kyeremanteng Oppong affectionately called Obaanoa, Minister of Local Government And Rural Development, Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah who doubles as MP for Techiman South, Adu Gyan, Bono East Regional Minister;

Ibrahim Bukari Baba, Regional Chairman of the NPP and Regional Executives, former MP for Nkoranza South and Deputy Minister of energy and education Kwame Ampofo Twumasi, MMCEs and Parliamentary candidates in the region, Clement Owusu Agyei, Constituency Chairman and Executives and many party faithful were also attendees.

Harriet Kyeremanteng Oppong's led entourage showed sympathies and pleasantries to Nananom of Nkoranza for the loss of their Queen Mother, Nana Dudaa Kani.

An amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Ghana Cedis, 100 cartons of bottled water, 100 cartons of assorted drinks, foreign and local gin among other items was donated in support of the one-week celebration of the late Queen Mother.
