MyNewsGh.com has confirmed from official sources that the Acting Registrar of the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA), Mr Matthew Yaw Kyeremeh voluntarily resigned from his position and was not sacked by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as earlier wrongly reported.

He was said to have tendered in his resignation somewhere in April to the presidency which is yet to officially respond to the letter, in view of the fact he had attained the mandatory retirement age as stipulated by the Constitution.

Further checks also revealed that he neither appeared for an interview at the Public Services Commission nor failed as was also wrongly revealed by our source.

Mr Matthew Yaw Kyeremeh until his resignation, played a critical role in the development of HeFRA which has been attested to by both the board and staff of the institution.

During his tenure, a number of reforms were instituted which has earned him praises from current managers of the regulatory agency.

In view of this, we wish to sincerely apologize to Mr Matthew Yaw Kyeremeh for the factually inaccurate reportage about his exit from Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA) as Acting Registrar.
