Correspondence from Upper East:
A health expert at the Upper East Regional Directorate of Health Service, Dr Josephat Nyuzaghl, has demonstrated how to properly wash hands to avoid getting infections in the face of the Coronavirus outbreak.
Dr. Nyuzaghl made the demonstration at the Regional Minister's residence in Bolgatanga on Monday, during a brief ceremony to support the Municipal and District Assemblies with handwashing equipment.
The equipment have been procured by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development for onward distribution to markets and other public places to enhance handwashing in combating the spread of the COVID-19.
During his demonstration, Mr Nyuzaghl, who is Deputy Director in charge of public health, said handwashing is one of the surest ways to avoiding getting the virus into the human system as it cleans and kills bacteria, viruses and all forms of dirt on the hands.
Our Upper East Regional correspondent, Senyalah Castro captured the demonstration in a video.
