Accra Hearts of Oak have been handed a massive boost with the return to training of injured duo Robin Gnagne and Richard Yamoah.

The two players had been on the treatment table for some time now but they returned to the team’s training on Monday.

Robin has played only 20 minutes in the new campaign after sustaining a groin injury in the opening day clash with Inter Allies. The elegant center back was put under a stringent programme by the medical department of the club and having successfully gone through treatment, he returned to training on Monday.

Richard Yamoah also made a return to training on Monday. The combative midfielder has not tasted action this season. Yamoahpicked up a serious knee injury in the second match of the 2015/16 season and he has been battling ever since to make a return.

There have been false-dawns for the midfielder but he looked quite good on his latest return.

Meanwhile, midfielder Malik Akowuah has joined the treatment table. Akowuah picked up an ankle injury in the 4-2 win over Bechem last Wednesday and missed the trip to Obuasi on Saturday.

He went for treatment on Friday together with Patrick Razak and Inusah Musah. Akowuah’s left foot has been cast in Plaster-of-Paris (P.O.P) and he would be out for some time.
