Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Ben Mensah wants to match the feat chalked by club legend Sammy Adjei.
Adjei had a glittering career with the Phobians and charted his way into the national team.
Mensah, who joined the club this season, has been top shape winning the club's maiden Player of the Month for the term.
''Whoever is engaged in a profession, the person ultimate aim is to leave a legacy in his work and I’m not an exception,'' Mensah told Kumasi-based Fox FM.
''I want to leave my name as one of the best goalkeepers of Hearts of Oak in the history books.
''Sammy Adjei did his best by winning more trophies for Hearts of Oak during his playing days and that has made the supporters to always remember him in time of difficulties, I want to follow in his footsteps by also winning trophies for Hearts so that the supporters will always have me in mind when I’m also no more with them.
''And so for now, all that I’m looking forward to is to continue working hard and keep focus in order to achieve this ambition and I know for sure I’ll definitely leave my mark with Hearts of Oak judging from my current form.''
