Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have pulled out of an expected friendly match with model club Dreams FC, FootballMadeInGhana.com can confirm.

The game was expected to kick off at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu on Sunday but the Phobians stepped back from the game.

The double-header encounter was supposed to have kicked off in Swedru and the Accra Sports Stadium.

But the Phobians reached an agreement with the Still Believe chaps to play the first leg in Dawu while the second leg comes off at the Accra Sports Stadium a week later.

Latest reports from the camp of the Phobians are that they can’t honour the encounter on Sunday, 17th February at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu but will be ready for the second leg a week later at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Even though the Phobians are yet to give a reason for their decision to pull out of the game, FootballMadeInGhana.com understands that the Old Ladies of the Ghana Premier League have some injury situations to deal with.

It is, however, not confirmed whether the second leg will be played or not.
