Accra Hearts of Oak are set to complete the signing of Benjamin Tweneboah from fellow Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks, as reported by Kick.gh.com

The source claims the Phobian are on the verge of securing the signature of Tweneboah who attracted interest from several clubs in the top-flight.

Hearts are leading the race to sign the highly-rated winger following an outstanding performance for Elmina Sharks in the Premier League for the past seasons.

The Ghanaian giants have already completed the signing of three players namely Mohammed Alhassan, Dominic Eshun and Black Meteors shot-stopper Richmond Ayi ahead of the resumption of the Ghana Premier League.

The 24-year-old featured in 14 games and bagged two goals for Elmina Sharks in the first round of the 2018 Ghana Premier League.

Meanwhile, football in the country has been halted following the premiering of the investigative documentary by ace journalist Anas Aaremeyaw Anas on corruption in Ghana football.
