Coach Stephen Abugri
Hearts of Oak have queried their youth team coach Stephen Abugri for allegedly attempting to sell a player without authorization.
The Phobians are demanding answers from the former King Faisal trainer over his involvement in a plot to clandestinely offload some of the club’s brightest youth prospect to Dreams FC.
Management have reportedly written officially to their youth team coach requesting his official response before taking a definite decision on his future.
Abugri joined Hearts of Oak last season as an assistant to Herbert Addo.
He was however later demoted to the youth team after allegedly clashing with team manager Sabahn Quaye.
Abugri has since been walking a tight rope at Hearts especially after the departure of Herbert Addo midway through last season.
The latest charge brought against him could well mark the end of the road for him at the club.
