National Chapters Organizer for Hesrts of Oak, Paa Kofi Sunsum has attributed the club defeat to West Africa Football Academy to their head coach, Frank Elliot Nuttall.

The Sogakope based club were in sensational form as they handed Accra Hearts of Oak a humiliating 5:0 defeat at the Sogakope Sports Stadium to go top of the Premier League table.

The Academy boys lost 2:1 to the Phobians in the first round, but their result on Sunday was more than a revenge against Hearts of Oak. They dented the Phobians pride, handing them their heaviest defeat in Premier League history.

Danger man, Emmanuel scored a brace, but the main architect of the emphatic victory was new sensation Abdul Majeed Ashimeru, who got one of the goals and was adjudged man of the match. The other scorers for WAFA were Abdul Wahab Ibrahim and Caleb Amankwah.

However, the vociferous supporters organizer for the club believes their head should be blamed for their lose.

"After fifty years as a club, we have never been humiliated this way." He told Asempa FM.

"I am disappointed in the management of the club because the truth is, the players have not been paid for the past five months and on the pitch we were lucky against WAFA.

"In the second half, the coach had everything wrong. The players didn't know what to do because they were totally confused. I am happy the management of the club were present at the stadium and if they don't begin to do things right, things will get worse.

"I know all is not lost because we have to come back on the drawing board and do what is what appropriate but it will depend if the management solve the problems within the club." He emphasized.

Hearts of Oak after their humiliation are currently on the 3rd position with 27 points after match day 17 of the Ghana Premier League.

Aduana Stars' defeat to Chelsea in Berekum on Saturday means WAFA have now reclaim top spot and opened a two-point lead over their title rivals.
