The stadium complex of West African Football Academy (WAFA) in Gomoa
Hearts of Oak are said to be in talks to buy the stadium complex of West African Football Academy (WAFA) in Gomoa which could cost the Rainbow club a whopping $10m.
WAFA, formerly known as Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord, have left behind a multi-purpose training facility when they moved their base to Sogakope in 2014.
An amount of $10 m is said to be the demanding figure from WAFA to release the training facility to the Phobian fraternity which is still in an appreciable shape.
“It will interest you to know that we have had discussions and we went over to inspect the facility. They mentioned a price of $10m which we are still considering”, Opare Addo, the spokesperson of Hearts, exclusively revealed to Starr Sports.
Hearts are currently without a training pitch and are holding their preseason training exercise on the grassless Police deport pitch at Tesano.
