Member of the Asante Kotoko Communication Team, Jerome Otchere has described Hearts’ victory over Kotoko in their penultimate league clash, as ‘dirty’.
According to Otchere, he was at a loss at to why a section of the crowd will clap for the referee for what he did since referee Suker marred yesterday’s game.
“Hearts’ victory is dirty. When a club spends so much towards a game and a referee decides the result of the game, it is really discouraging. Kotoko spent so much since camping from Friday till Sunday".
"I hear people saying Kotoko have been beneficiaries of certain dubious penalty calls at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, so why should Kotoko be crying wolf over Suker’s decision? But that is a bad assertion on the part of those saying that. Suker disappointed on the day”, he said in an interview on Asempa FM.
“For Suker to save himself, he should come out and apologize to all for his misconduct. Anyone who justifies the penalty call from Suker, will lose my respect”, he continued.
Referee Suker’s decision to award Hearts of Oak, has generated much controversy in the football circles.
