Here is when CSSPS placement results will be released

The Ministry of Education has announced that the 2026/2027 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results will be released on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:00 p.m.

The results, which were initially scheduled for release on Monday, August 31, 2026, were postponed to allow more time for the submission of required student data.

The Ministry said the decision followed appeals from parents, guardians, students and heads of schools for additional time to upload the necessary information onto the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and CSSPS portals.

At the time of the postponement, approximately 20,000 qualified students had yet to have their school choices uploaded by their respective school heads or guardians.

CSSPS 2026/2027: Education Ministry reveals date for release of school placement results

The Ministry explained that the extension was intended to ensure that no qualified candidate was left out of the placement process due to outstanding data submissions.

The additional time was expected to enable all eligible applicants to complete the necessary documentation for placement into Senior High Schools (SHSs) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions across the country.

Parents, guardians and students can access their placement results through the official CSSPS portal - www.cssps.gov.gh - after the release.

The Ministry has also advised the public to rely only on official communication from the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, TVET and CSSPS platforms for accurate information.
