High Commissioner?s Valentine Ball

Mrs Marian Osei, wife of Ghana?s High Commissioner to the UK hosted the Ghanaian community in the UK to 000 a Valentine Dinner Dance at the Imperial Hotel in London on February 18, 2006.

The over-subscribed dinner dance which was one of the social events which was held to bring Ghanaians in the UK together was attended by over 400 guests.

Mrs Marian Osei had in previous social events raised

money to support health and social programmes in

Ghana. The Special Valentine ball had as special guest the famous Chelsea and national star Michael Essien who opened the floor with Mrs Osei.

There was as part of the event, a traditional fashion show which depicted traditional designs made in Ghana.
