Ho Poly to organise workshop for designers

Ho, Aug. 28, GNA-The Department of Fashion and Design, Ho Polytechnic is to organize workshops for designers in and around the Ho Municipality from October this year.

Mrs. Selorm Gbetodeme, Head of the department announced this at a fashion show organized by the outfit code-named: " Exclusive Trends In Creativity," at Ho.

She said the initiative was taken to teach the designers who use free hands in designing, the modern way of designing to improve upon the standard of their works.

Mrs. Gbetodeme called on people who needed special designs for special occasions to visit the department for solutions since the department has the ability to create styles to suit every occasion and for different figure types.

The occasion, which was in partial fulfilment of final year students of the Polytechnic, had 20 students showcasing their designs, some of which were for casual wear, evening, bridal and tailored wears.
