General Overseer of the Perez Chapel, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare, has admonished Christians not change their stance on homosexuality because it is an abominable and unbiblical sexual preference.

He described homosexuality as the development of an unnatural affection for the people of the same-sex.

Preaching on how to deal with the challenges of being single, the renowned preacher among other challenges said, single people should see homosexuality and lesbianism as an ‘’inordinate affection’’.

Using Romans Chapter 1:31-32, the man of God said, people in the last days will have lack of understanding and have unnatural affection for each other.

Bishop Agyin Asare insisted, ‘’for us as believers, homosexuality is a wrong thing irrespective of what other people think.

The word of God is very categorical about it.’’ He said homosexuality is an abomination and if for homosexuality, God will allow anger to fall on Sodom and Gomorrah; that is why homosexuality is called sodomy because out that, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

It is an abomination, it is an affront to procreation.’’

The Bishop also spoke anout masturbation and admonished Christians to desist from the unholy act.

35 years of ministry

The Founder and Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, has meanwhile launched the Festival of Miracles scheduled from 30 January to 2 February 2018 at the Independence Square in Accra, to mark his 35th anniversary in the ministry of God.

Launching the event at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, Bishop Agyinasare said if a miracle is any supernatural intervention in the affairs of men that amazes the human mind, then the Festival of Miracles is a timely campaign, especially now.

He noted that although human attempts at bettering people’s lives have been significant and worthy of praise, in many cases, they are either not advanced enough or completely incapable of helping, and, therefore, a miracle is the last and often only resort.
