Koforidua, July 06, GNA - Apostle Abraham Ofori-Kuragu, the General Secretary of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, on Tuesday said homosexuals should not be given the chance to operate in the country, since, "It is unnatural."
He said homosexuality was against Ghanaian cultures and public morality, adding that, it was imperative that Ghanaians did everything possible to ensure that good public morals were upheld. Apostle Ofori-Kuragu said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Koforidua.
He said the 1992 Constitution was accepted by Ghanaians in the name of God and that anything against the will of God should be thrown away. Apostle Ofori-Kuragu said homosexuality was against God's design of life, adding that, God in His divine wisdom created Adam and Eve to live as husband and wife and not Adam and another male, or Eve and another female. "Ghana cannot accept any unnatural act which is in contrast with the will of God," he said.
Apostle Ofori-Kuragu said God abhorred homosexuality as specified in the book of Leviticus and other books in the Bible and that when such an act was allowed in the country would only bring a curse on the land. He appealed to the youth, to be vigilant and prudent in life so that they would do things which would please God and also bring positive development to Ghana.
