The Honorary Consulate Corps of Ghana has elected new officers for a two-year term.
The event was hosted by Ambassador Ray Quarcoo, Honorary Consular of Haiti at his Kokrobite Beach Villa on Saturday, May 5, 2018 and in attendance were 30members.
Headed by the Dean of the Honorary Consulate Corps of Ghana,Hon. Dimitri Avraam (Honorary Consular of Belgium); the body elected the following officers:

In an interview with the press, the Dean explained that the group seeks to motivate its members and promote the role of the honorary consulates.
He said “We contribute immensely to the promotion of bilateral trade and cultural relations among members of the Honorary Consular Corps.
"I wish the elected officers well in their respective endeavours, l believe their rich experience will take the group a notch higher before they leave office," he added.
The group has an Executive Committee, which meet every two months and report to the General Assembly, who also meet quarterly.
The Honorary Consular Corps of Ghana is a member of International Federation of Consular Associations (FICAC)
