Accra, Nov 07, GNA - The Rev Frank Odoi Sarkodee, the General Overseer of Positive Faith International Ministry, on Sunday urged Christians to perform their social responsibilities by paying taxes and obeying the laws of the country.
He said as much as Christians knew how important it was to pay their tithes, it was equally important for them to pay their taxes to enable the government the its honour its social responsibility to citizens. Rev Sarkodee was speaking at the celebration of the church's fourth anniversary on the theme "Believing God for the best". He said it was only when Christians honoured their social and religious responsibilities that God would answer their prayers and give them the best in life.
Rev Sarkodee said Christians should ensure that the environment was clean and to educate people on the need to be disciplined. 07 Nov 05
