The Acting commissioner of the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Miss Anna Bossman, has intimated that her outfit would not shield the Presidency, if its investigations confirm the various allegations of abuse of office and moral turpitude.
Various Political Parties and Civil Society Organizations are calling for a Public Inquiry into the 'Hotel Scandal' that has hit the Presidency.
The Minority in Parliament has hinted that it has begun with its own investigation and would proceed to begin impeachment process if their initial investigations is proven to be so, but the Majority in Parliament says otherwise, noting that the allegations adduced are not tenable.
But speaking to the media, Miss Anna Bossman stated that CHRAJ has begun preliminary investigations into the Chief Kufuor Hotel Scandal, noting that CHRAJ would conduct a full scale investigation into the saga if it finds evidence of corruption in the various allegations adduced.
Miss Bossman noted that the allegations brought to the fore are fraught with inconsistencies that need to be investigated.
