Samuel Patterson Asamoah, the Senior Housemaster of Kumasi Secondary Technical School (KSTS) in the Ashanti Regional capital, is reportedly hot for allegedly impregnating a second-year female student of the school and aborting the foetus subsequently.
The suspect, who was said to have lured the teenager into secret sexual relationship, has since been interdicted by authorities over the scandal pending further investigations into the allegations.
According to a report monitored on Joy Fm, Samuel Patterson Asamoah would appear before a committee, which was set up by the headmaster of the school after he was ordered to vacate campus.
The committee is expected to investigate the matter and submit a report in seven days.
The foetus was said to have died in the womb of the victim after taking a concoction allegedly given to her by the housemaster in attempt to cover-up the alleged sexual escapade with the student.
The victim was purportedly rushed to the First Care Hospital at Patasi, which is near the school, by the authorities when information got to them.
She was later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after medics at the First Care Hospital established that the foetus had died in the womb, the report indicated.
It said that the Ashanti Regional Director of Education, Mary Owusu Akyiaw, again ordered the arrest of Samuel Patterson Asamoah for defilement.
