How Otumfuo received Bawumia at one-week observance of the late Nana Konadu Yiadom III

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, was seen warmly receiving former vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during the solemn one-week observance of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

In a video shared by NPP Project Bureau on August 22, 2025, the Asantehene appeared very appreciative and excited by the former president's visit.

The meeting, which took place at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on August 21, highlights the mutual respect between the two dignitaries.

Meanwhile, the final funeral rites for the late queen mother are scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025.
