Victor Benjamin has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service
Details have emerged regarding how a Nigerian national, Victor Benjamin Fejemirokum, was arrested at his hideout in Ghana by the Ghana Police Service.
The 26-year-old was arrested following a viral video that provided details of his alleged atrocities.

The video claimed that Victor Benjamin had abducted and subsequently murdered a female officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and her daughter in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Additionally, the suspect is reported to have fled to Ghana to evade arrest and sought refuge with friends in Akyem Wenchi, Akwatia.
“We are here to inform you about an arrest of a Nigerian man suspected to have killed a woman and her daughter in Nigeria and ran to hide in Ghana to avoid the Nigeria police from arresting him. Suspect Victor Benjamin Fejemirokum, 26 years, was arrested based on an interception of a viral video, which it was being alleged that he has abducted and murdered a lady who works with the Road Safety Corp (FRSC) and her daughter in Abeokuta in Ogun State in Nigeria.
“The suspect was wanted by the Nigeria police, but he ran to Ghana to hide with his friends at a Akyem Wenchi, a suburb of Akwatia,” the Eastern Regional Police Command confirmed at a press briefing on November 23, 2025.
Meanwhile, the police has said that the efforts are underway to hand him over to the Nigerian authorities.
“The suspect is currently in police custody, and frantic efforts are underway to hand him over to the Nigerian authorities,” the Regional Commander, DCOP George Ohene-Boadi stated.
About the case:
The deceased lady, 39-year-old Lasisi Funmilanyo Oluwamayokun, and her teenage daughter were reported missing on the morning of Sunday, November 2, 2025, after they left their residence at the Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, and never returned, according to reports by Nigerian media.

The report indicated that after several days, during which they had gone missing, a police investigation led to the recovery of their mutilated bodies at a suspected herbalist’s den in Osun.
The Nigerian police arrested the herbalist along with several other suspects; however, the individual believed to be the prime suspect had absconded and was on the run.
