...confirms her arrival on Thursday
The Woman at the Centre of the Hotel Kufour Scandal, Gizzelle Yadji has confirmed rumours that she has twins with the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor.
She claims DNA tests have already been done to prove the paternity of the children..
In an interview, with a local radio station JoyFM, Ms. Yadji (aka Yaa Agyei) also confirmed her arrival in Ghana on Thursday night to back her claim, that president Kufour owns the hotel complex next to his private residence.
Despite explanation by presidential aids that president Kufour?s son Chief owns the property, Madam Yadjzi maintains it belongs to the president.
She says her evidence to the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), which is conducting preliminary investigations into the matter, will silence those seeking to distance the president from the hotel. She said she had the twins - named John and Philip Kufuor -during an affair with the President, whilst she was presidential advisor. President Kufuor had told journalists last week in an interaction with the media that Giselle approached his government when they won power and were desperately in need of support, claiming she was capable of linking them to some financial resources in Kuwait and Spain. The President said she was made government advisor when she had to travel to Kuwait to secure a deal with the Kuwaiti government.
?But that was all?, the President had said. But Ms. Yazji denies it ended there.
She claimed she had an affair with President Kufuor and that ?the President, I am sorry, did not speak the truth to the journalists.? She said even though she did not have papers to prove that President Kufuor is the owner of what has become known as ?Hotel Kufuor?, she has enough evidence including tape recordings to incriminate the President.
According to her she has recordings of conversations involving the President directing how the deal should be closed.
She confirmed she will arrive in Accra 19: 55 on Thursday via a British Airways Flight.
