Former spokesperson to late President John Evans Atta Mills, Koku Anyidoho, has rebuffed speculations that he has been rendered redundant at the presidency since the demise of the former president.
He insisted that he was still at post and executing his duties as director of communications without any interference.
Mr. Anyidoho said this on an Accra based radio station on Wednesday.
“...The fact that I have been off the media circle does not mean I am not there. Two days ago someone in Kumasi said my office was now at the Asomdwee Park - burial place of Atta Mills”, he said.
Continuing, the Mr. Anyidoho said he was optimistic that Ghanaians will renew the mandate of the NDC in December, stressing that “it is only the NDC that will be able to develop this country”.
He added: “we thank God that majority of Ghanaians will see through the solid work President Mills started and give President Mahama the mandate to continue with the good works of building a better Ghana.”
