Leading member of the People's National Convention (PNC) and flagbearer aspirant Bernard Mornah is optimistic he will beat the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He is certain of winning as the President of Ghana on the ticket of the PNC because, comparatively, he has more swag than the other candidates.
Bernard Mornah does not see Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and John Dramani Mahama as competition in the 2024 polls. He has since thrown a challenge to the NPP and the NDC to avail themselves for a presidential debate, which he believes he will floor them as flagbearer of the PNC.
“I have a swag that the two of them [Mahama and Bawumia] don’t have, and therefore I don’t see them as a contest.
"All I am saying is that I am in their midst, and I will push them aside. The goal post is there, and we will score and win in 2024. That’s why I have no doubt about defeating them,” he said.
The PNC will be electing their national executives as well as a flagbearer as they prepare for the 2024 election. The elections will take place on August 31, 2024.
