”It cannot be that only the areas that voted for me will be the ones that are going to get development, my duty as president is to make sure that all parts of the country benefit from the work of my government, I am interested in providing infrastructure that people can see and not in the business of prophesying unprecedented projects that nobody gets to see,” the president assured.

He also visited the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa district, inspected ongoing project of the new district hospital at Issa and the high point of his visit to the region is the commissioning of the new Upper West Regional Hospital.

President Akufo-Addo cited instances of the Lawra-Nandom road which he promised to fix, and he claims work on that road is currently ongoing, a dam has been constructed under the one village one dam programme at Tom and plans are afoot to connect the community to the national grid, a project started by the Kufuor-led administration and abandoned over a decade ago.
