President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says his government has fulfilled 41 of its 2016 campaign promises and hoping to do more.
“Forty-one promises made by the NPP and its presidential candidate has been fulfilled and delivered within two years. We are not done and I know that, but after the four years, everybody will see that yes, Akufo-Addo was a man of his words and a man of truth, a man of honesty and integrity,” Nana Akufo-Addo stated during a bye-election rally at Ayawaso West Wuogon, on Tuesday, 29 January 2019.
According to Mr Akufo-Addo, Ghanaians will realise he is a man of integrity after he completes his first term in office.
President Akufo-Addo, who was addressing the final rally of the party at the La Bawaleshie Presbyterian Basic School Park, said one of his strengths had been his continued faith in God, hence one of the reasons why he had been able to resolve the crisis in Dagbon.
He however called on the electorates to vote massively for the NPP candidate, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, to honour the late MP for the area Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko
“I’m pleading with you, Lydia is a mother and a widow but because of her love for Ghana and Ayawaso West she has decided to contest and continue the good works of her husband, so vote massively for her to honour her late husband,” the President pleaded
