David Duncan insists he has never received any form of inducements in his career as a coach.
The former Hearts of Oak coach is unattached as a substantive trainer since his sacking by Asante Kotoko in 2016.
The tough-talking trainer in explaining why he is always amongst the highest earning coaches in the country says it is because he doesn’t accept even gifts.
“I have never ever received any form of inducement; be it a bribe or a gift,” he told Asempa FM.
“Receiving such things has the tendencies to compromise you and I don’t want that.
“You can ask anyone who has dealt with me; be it a player agent, a manager or even a player as to whether I have accepted even a gift from them.
“This is why I negotiate what will be ok for me so I don’t have the need to seek extra resources aside what is given to me legitimately by my employers.”
Duncan who has previously coached Great Olympics, AshantiGold and Free State Stars in South African however stresses that he is not out of a job now because of how expensive he is.
“It is not like I don’t have offers, I get many of them,” he added.
“But I always sieve them to find one that suits me and not because I overprice myself or merely because I need to earn a living or be paid.”
