Youth and Sports Minister, Hon, Isaac Asiamah, has revealed that a debt of GHC 51 million was inherited by his administration.
According to Asiamah there was no money when he took over from Nii Lante Vanderpuje as Sports Minister after the change of government.
“When I took office there was no money,”Asiamah said during Tuesday’s meet the press.
“We inherited GHC 51 million as debt, there was nothing at the Sports Ministry.”
Mr. Asiamah’s comment is a direct jab to former Sports Minister Nii Lanter Vanderpuje.
