I’ll investigate Parliament and galamsey at my own time - Anas drops a hint

Ghana’s undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has revealed that a section of angry Ghanaians are on his neck to investigate parliament and illegal mining activities in the country but he will only do that when the time is ripe for him and his Tiger PI crew, MyNewsGh.com can report.

Though he has not given any indication he would investigate these areas or otherwise, he served notice that anyone irrespective of his or standing once enveloped in his sting operations will be exposed.

According to him, no one can force him to conduct investigations into areas he is not prepared for but said he will relent in all his efforts to name, shame and jail.

Responding to when he would investigate parliament and activities of illegal mining in the country, Anas responded “about Galamsey and Parliament I can understand the anger of people in those areas. I will however not be forced by anybody to come out with premature stories”

He reiterated that once he starts whoever is considered a bad guy would be enveloped promising to churn out stories that have core evidence to nail the perpetrators

“When I start the story whoever you are you will be enveloped. I will do the stories but cannot be forced to come out with anything without core evidence.

On threats to expose his identity coupled with claims his investigations fail to stand the test of time, he stated “nobody can shake my foundation because my investigations stand the legal test. I go through rigorous legal test as a lawyer I pick any story and look at the legal perspectives”

Asked if there are plans to conduct investigations into fishing he simply responded “the fishing industry will be looked at one day”

Recently, he promised fire in what is coming after Number 12 that shook the foundation of football in the world calling Ghanaians to brace themselves for it.

Following the release of his undercover investigative project, Number 12, many have expressed divergent opinions on the project that exposed massive corruption in Ghana football and beyond.

Regardless of the varied opinions shared about what seems the most impactful project by the Ace Investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team, Anas said “the world is yet to see my best”.

Speaking at the TPF National Media Festival 2018 at the Best Western Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi weeks ago Africa’s most revered and feared undercover journalist said, “people have called number 12 names, and also described its impact in many forms, but I can tell you, if anybody thought number 12 was hot, what is coming will be fire”.
