Former Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood has pledged her commitment to the vision of the Nana Akufo-Addo-led government.
In a speech at her induction to serve as a member of the Council of State on Tuesday June 20, she said she had followed the plans of the president in which he has spelt out his “vision and the goals that you have for this country and through various things: job creation, improving the economy, the fight against corruption and impunity, all which are meant to enhance the lives of the people of Ghana”.
She said she would remain committed to contributing her quota to the development of the country and will make her experience count in granting assistance and advice so that she can serve the president and the people of Ghana faithfully.
Mrs Wood thanked her husband for his unflinching support over the years and also expressed appreciation to the president for lauding her in various speeches in Ghana and abroad.
