Head coach of Asante Kotoko Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin is wary of the threat Simba SC will pose to his outfit in the upcoming international friendly game.
The Porcupine Warriors have been invited by the Tanzanian giants to play a high profile friendly to mark Simba Day Celebration at the National stadium, Dar es salaam on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
In his pre-match conference, Coach Fabin indicated that he is aware of the side they will be squaring up against, but more especially the Ghanaian players in their ranks.
"Because of the magic of television, we see some of the matches of Simba Sports, Azam FC and Young African. So I know a little much about them (Simba S.C) but not too much," Paa Kwesi told the press during the pre-match conference.
"I just watch their matches. I know there are three Ghanaian players (James Agyekum Kotei, Nicholas Gyan and Akwasi Asante) at their camp. One of them (Nicholas Gyan) is my former player at the Ghana U-17. So at least I know one player from Simba S.C," he added.
Kotoko replaced Kenyan champions AFC Leopard after they pulled out of the friendly.
The match will come off today at 14:00 GMT.
