I’m bigger than Akufo-Addo and Mahama; they should honour me – Prophet Badu Kobe

The Founder of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, says he does not need money from the country’s former and present leaders, John Dramani Mahama and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to survive.

Instead, he wants the two leaders to honour him in return for his blessings upon their lives.

“I have not taken any pesewa from any of the politicians and so I can speak my mind whenever I want to. I have not taken a cedi from either President Mahama or Nana Akufo-Addo. I don’t even need it. I am a man of God and they need to honour me. I am bigger than President Akufo-Addo. I am also bigger than John Dramani Mahama. They have to come to me and honour me so I can also bless them,” he noted.

Prophet Badu Kobe made this observation in an interaction with Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM, Monday.

He was speaking to a number of key national issues which he believes are worth discussing in the public domain.

He told Banson that a lot of people are not happy about his continuous criticism of President Akufo-Addo over the way and manner he has conducted himself both in opposition and in government, stressing that he will never depart from telling the truth.

Nana Addo, he argued, is doing a lot of wrong things and if he doesn’t take time, “he will not live any good legacy behind apart from some infrastructure projects he will put up.”

“My issue is that we need to tell the truth. Why are we playing politics with everything? Politics is transient. Some nations started with capitalism, others also started with socialism. Today, all these are waning. I don’t belong to any political party and the good news is that I have not taken money from any politician and so I will continue to tell the truth.”

Turning the heat on Mr. John Dramani Mahama, he said the former President was not decisive in a lot of things that he did.

He expressed the belief that it was because of Mr. Mahama’s indecision that the former Finance Minister, Seth Terkper got away with the numerous taxes that he introduced to cripple industry without being sacked.

“I used to tell Mahama why he was indecisive. Why should he sit down for Seth Terkper to destroy the country? Terkper is anti-business; hence, the introduction of nuisance taxes to cripple industry. If I meet President Mahama today, I will tell him my piece of mind. There are so many things that he didn’t do well at all. The introduction of the nuisance taxes was wrong. There are at times too that President Mahama will refuse to react to some issues that became topical for public discourse. After sacking Vicky Mahama over the infamous US$1million, he wasn’t decisive in a number of things and I wasn’t happy with him.”
