The immediate past Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Alfred Obeng Boateng, has asked relatives and well-wishers in general to ignore publications that he has been hospitalized.
Reports in the media on Friday suggested that Mr Obeng Boateng has been hospitalized with high blood pressure after his dismissal from BOST.
But he says the reports are untrue.
“I wish to state that I am healthy and happily going about my normal activities,” he said in a statement on Saturday.
“I am therefore entreating my relatives and well-wishers to ignore the said publication.”
Mr Obeng Boateng was relieved of his post by President Nana Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, June 20.
He has, however, offered to be available anytime to help the government with his expertise.
