Bolga All Stars head coach Baba Nuhu Mallam has rejected claims that he’s the cause of the club’s shambolic debut campaign in the 2016/2016 Ghana Premier League.

The Tamale Utrecht Academy trainer recently tendered him his resignation letter to officials of the club after failing to help them survive relegation with six matches more to bring the season to a closure.

Though many football fanatics have attributed the club’s disgraceful debut campaign in the Ghana Premier League, Nuhu takes the contrary and insists he can never be blamed for Bolga All Stars woes which has seen them return to the GN Bank Divion One League next season.

”I don’t think I am the cause of Bolga All Stars woes. A lot of things went wrong and don’t want to talk about it. Everything is personal and I don’t want to go beyond that. What I can say is that, a lot of factors have contributed to that.” He told Kumasi based Abusua FM.

”I have resigned but am still the head coach of Utrecht.”

”I have now realized that there is a big difference between the lower division and the premier league.”

”There is no pressure at the lower division. No target is given so you are able to get time and develop talents as compared to premiership”.

The young trainer replaced Peter Akolgo as the head coach of the premiership debutants after the Tamale Utrecht Academy took over the control of the club.
