Rev. Dr. Owusu Bempah, Founder and General Overseer of Glorious World Power Ministries International has denied news reports he prophesied that Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will die.
According to the prophet, he has not said anywhere that Akufo-Addo will die as being speculated.
Rev. Bempah in an interview with NEWS-ONE warned persons who are spreading that rumour to desist from that act, “I think some people want to use my name to sell their papers. I have never said that Nana Addo will die. They should say what I have said.”
Explaining the actual prophecy he gave about Nana Addo, the renowned prophet said, “What I said about Nana Addo was that there are some people who are planning to kill him. However, they will not succeed.”
“The evil plotters are burying live cows, all in an attempt to eliminate Nana Addo. I have seen the very people who are doing that, and I am warning them to stop or else the wrath of God will come upon them and they will be exposed,” Rev. Bempah said.
He said God has a purpose for Nana Addo and until that purpose was accomplished he will not die.
Rev. Bempah said, “Nobody can kill Nana Addo. He is a man who has a good heart for people and his country. The fact that he accepted the election court verdict means he has a very good heart”.
The renowned Prophet admitted that people are going through difficulties due to the bad economy and the erratic power supply which was collapsing so many businesses.
“My son, the truth is that, now everybody is going through hardship, and it has affected church attendance. People don’t come to church as they used to because they don’t have money to either take transport or give offering,” Rev. Bempah said.
He said there are some people in government that only seek their selfish interest at the expense of the whole nation, questioning that “How can the nation move forward if we have selfish and greedy leaders”.
“If the nation will succeed then our leaders must eschew selfishness and greediness. They must learn to always tell the truth and stop the lies,”, Rev. Bempah said.
