The National Organiser of the ruling NDC, Yaw Boateng Gyan has denied media reports that he has threatened to release a secret recording regarding the death of the late President Mills.
He said such reports are false and malicious.
Boateng Gyan is reported to have told Kumasi-based Okay FM that he will be compelled to release a secret recording of some individuals who contributed to the death of the late president.
“Let’s not forget how someone said he would make sure the late President Mills did not run the second term; in his case not only did President Mills not run for the second term but he (President Mills) can’t be found today amongst the living and these are the people we are dealing with,” he is reported to have stated in the interview.
But speaking on Asempa FM, Monday, however, the incumbent organiser of the ruling party said he has been misreported.
“ I remember I said that I will use the conversation between my brother Kofi Adams and Gabby Otchere- Darko where he said he will ensure that Professor Mills does not get a second term in office; I said that".
He added:” This matters concern our party because my brother is spreading rumours that I left party activities behind and went to Brazil, but Brazil had nothing to do with the NDC and its activities.
“So I got concerned and decided to respond to those things but I only said Kofi had said he won’t make Prof go for a second term, but I never said I have tape recordings of those who killed professor mills. I never said that,“ he stressed.
