Richard Ahiagbah, the Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated that his time spent at the Komfo Anokye Hospital has given him a better understanding of Ghana's healthcare system.
He made this statement after being discharged from the hospital following several weeks of admission.
In a post shared on social media, Ahiagbah has pledged to advocate for KATH in order to ensure that the necessary development takes place at the facility.
Ahiagbah has now been discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Mr. Ahiagbah was involved in an accident while driving from Accra to Kumasi. Despite the significant impact on his vehicle, he sustained injuries and was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
In a post on X, Mr. Ahiagbah announced that after weeks of hospitalization, he has been discharged.
He mentioned that he still has a few knots to work out, but he will soon be back on his feet.
I am out of the hospital today with a few more knots to untie, but I am back on my feet again.
