Medeama-owned Justice Blay has espoused that he prefers playing for Asante Kotoko than a move outside the shores of Ghana.
The dream of every player in the country is to secure a deal to Europe but highly-rated midfielder Justice Blay prefers playing for Asante Kotoko than seeking greener pastures outside the country.
He is currently on a season-long loan at Asante Kotoko and if the Porcupine Warriors fail to meet the demands of his parent club – Medeama – he will return to Tarkwa.
Speaking on how he moved to Asante Kotoko, Blay said,
“Medeama played Kotoko at Tarkwa which we won. C. K. Akonnor sent Muntari Tagoe to come for my number where talks begun.
“Moses Parker was reluctant in releasing me for Asante Kotoko but I insisted. Others came in to convince him and he eventually agreed to loan me to them” he told Kumasi FM.
“I cannot decide whether I will stay or go back to Medeama. It’s between the two clubs but obviously I want to play for Kotoko. You can not compare the two clubs.
“I even prefer playing Kotoko to traveling abroad” Blay concluded.
