Controversial man of God and the Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has revealed that he rejected the juicy offer of traveling and living in the UK to staying in Ghana to do God’s work.
He intimated that he was granted the UK visa with the help of his sisters who are living abroad but turned the offer down to do God’s work in his home country.
He stressed that he loves doing God’s work which he started in the past preaching in the markets and schools.
The former Member of Parliament for Akwatia constituency Baba Jamal in an interview warned Rev Owusu Bempeh to stop meddling in former President John Dramani Mahama’s affairs else he will expose him and his church.
But in a video sighted by MyNewsGh.com in which Rev.Owusu Bempeh was addressing his congregation, he explained that he hasn’t visited any shrine to enrich himself and increase his membership.
He added that he could have become very rich and built mansions if he had travelled abroad and not concentrated on preaching.
The Man of God said a burger who sweeps in hospitals abroad is better off than most people with white collar jobs in Ghana.
‘I rejected the offer to travel to the UK because of God’s work, my mother and my siblings even fought me but I didn’t listen to them, all because of God’s work, they got me the visa but I turned it down. It wasn’t a difficult thing for me to have gone abroad. Even when I was struggling to survive, I didn’t visit shrines, and I turned down a great opportunity of traveling, what are you are talking about’ he quizzed.
According to him, he stopped pursuing his dreams of becoming an international athlete just to preach the Bible and win souls for Christ.
‘Would I have cared so much about wining souls, I have skills in goal keeping, I was an athlete, I was a good goalkeeper because of that I was named Libyan keeper, you can make enquiries about that if you doubt me,’ he stated.
