A Former Head of Bursary at the Northern Regional Coordinating Council (NRCC), Baba Daney has accused his political opponents of falsely accusing him of engaging in forgery in the pursuit of a clandestine political agenda.
In a statement reacting to media publications that he alleged forged signatures of his superiors to withdraw money GH¢119,423.60 from the Northern Regional Coordinating Council Bursary, he said the claims are untrue.
He said; “I wish to state categorically that I have never and shall never engage in acts of impropriety in line of my duty as a public servant with several years of good standing and a financial expert”
Mr Daney added “Though I am not above the laws of the country, I will have not in any way misconducted myself in places I worked as District Accountant including Gushegu, Zabzugu, Tolon, Savelugu and the Northern Regional Coordinating all in the Northern Region”
