It is undoubted that host of the “StandPoint”, Gifty Anti is an inspiration to many particularly because of her enviable feats and life story.

She is doing even a lot more to touch the lives of many others; this time through a new book she has launched.

“A Bit Of Me”, as the title suggests, reveals some part of the woman we know, detailing how she manages to strike a balance as a family person and a media person.

According to her, her inspiration to write was derived from an experience in her life and lessons she learnt from that.

She narrated how she at a point went through a lot of pain when she broke her leg and was indoors for more than three weeks. Was during that period that she chose to make use of the time and let others benefit especially after people had encouraged her to pen down something for people who look up to her so that they can read as a form of motivation.

“When I broke my leg and I was home and nearly pushed to depression because I couldn’t do anything not even to talk of going downstairs. I was stuck for three weeks. That it is where it dawned on me that this cannot be in vain. I need to share, I need to let people understand what we go through.”

She further noted how the situation gave her more insight into the challenge of such persons facing challenges and in pain.

“A bit of Me” is based on my experience both the ugly and beautiful, yet to come and I want to use that to encourage others” She added.

The dedication of the book saw notable personalities such as Rev. Eastwood Anaba, Guest Speaker, Minister Selina Boateng, 2019 winner of Talented kids, Nakeeyat Dramani and many others.

Gifty Anti has won many notable awards including the African Woman of Worth Awards and Influential Woman of the Year award in 2012.

Also, the Global Center for transformation Leadership conferred on her an Honorary Doctor of Letters award in 2012. The same year she won two awards at the Radio and Television Personality Awards in Ghana.
