As other political parties contemplate on releasing their manifesto with the fear that others may steal and build upon what one has in mind, founder and flag bearer of Independent People’s Party (IPP) has stated, he will be much exited should other political parties copy his manifesto provided they would make good use of the stolen document.

The Ireland based flag bearer was speaking on Frontline with Kwabena Agyapong concerning his party’s manifesto launch in Kumasi which is slated for Saturday 11th June, 2016.

With Mr. Akpaloo, the struggle for power should be with a common motive, i.e. to put rational measures in place geared towards serving the people and making lives better. This he is of the view must be everyone’s dream for seeking power of the people and that if one can tap into another’s idea to build the nation he sees nothing wrong with that.

Political parties he said should not be disturbed or express fear that their manifesto will be doctored by other parties. According to him, if manifesto are doctored and implemented, it the nation that benefits.

Citing the implementation of the free senior school by the ruling NDC, a policy promised by presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo, he said, although Nana Addo failed to win the elections, his policy is being implemented by government, therefore the party should rather be proud and stop attacking and calling government copy cats.

Governance he added, should be premised on a collective efforts from all political parties whether opposition or ruling.
