Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong says aside the GHC 100,000 reward on the heads of killers of Ahmed Hussein-Suale; he is ready to top the bounty up with a house.
The move, according to him, is to help in the arrest of Ahmed’s killers and also protect his tarnished reputation.
“I swear to God I will give the person one house to redeem my image,” he said in an emotionally-charged interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie on OKAY FM’s morning show ‘Ade Akye Abia’.
The outspoken NPP MP also vowed to "give the person protection if he or she needs one.”
Mr Hussein-Suale was a member of Tiger Eye PI, which belongs to undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
He was shot by some unknown assailants on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, while driving home.
Following his death, many have been calling for the arrest of Kennedy Agyapong for inciting hatred against the journalist while he was alive.
But the maverick politician has in no uncertain terms rebuff the accusations and rather requests that Ahmed’s family and any other person[s] who have proof, cooperates with the police to get to the bottom of the unfortunate incident.
