Black Stars Coach CK Akonnor will not entertain uncommitted players in the National team.
Akonnor resumed the position as Head trainer of the senior National team, replacing Kwesi Appiah who was not given a contract extension.
The former Kotoko Coach takes charge of the Black Stars until further notice.
Many have raised concerns about whether or not the former National star can handle some egoistic Black Stars players, but Akonnor claims he will only be open to handing opportunities to committed players.
“To play for the national team they must show commitment. It doesn’t matter if they are stars in their club teams”, he said in the interview.
His first assignment as Black Stars Coach could be in a friendly game in March this year.
