Sammy Awuku, who is aspiring to become the next National Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated categorically that he will make the party an election winning machine that members will be proud of.

“If I am elected as the party’s national organizer by the NPP delegates this year, I would implement pragmatic policies, programmes and strategies that will help the NPP to win polls in the country, he stated.

Sammy Awuku, who doubles as the National Youth Organizer of the NPP, disclosed that his policies would make NPP the most vibrant and attractive political party in the country.

“I want to make the NPP an election winning machine so that the NPP can win every election and I will properly organize every member of our dear party from the grassroots to the top level so that winning polls will become the DNA of the NPP.”

Mr Awuku, who effectively mobilized the NPP youth across the country, which helped the party to win the 2016 elections convincingly, stated that he wants to move up to become the national organizer of the NPP to make the party stronger.

“Winning elections mainly depend on how properly a political party organizes its activities and as a young, energetic, visionary and tried-and-tested politician, I have the competence to make the NPP vibrant,” he added.

Mr Awuku, who disclosed this in an interview with Kwabena Antwi Boasiako of UTV, said if given the nod, he would lead the party to victory.

“I have duly played my part with the solid support of all the NPP youth across the country and beyond, therefore it’s appropriate that I step down as youth organizer for someone to take over the youth wing of the party.”

Mr Awuku, who is adored by the majority of NPP for his dedication to the cause of the party, said he respectfully rejected an appointment from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in order to enhance the activities of the party.
