President Akufo-Addo
A special adviser to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Amoako Tuffour has reiterated his loyalty to him saying he can never lie to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo he described as his boss.
In a radio interview with Nhyira Fm in Kumasi, while responding to how factual his report to his boss would be, Dr. Amoako Tuffour insisted that whatever the situation on the grounds are, he would never lie to him.
“I can’t lie to the president. We have to tell him the reality in the country and add a little bit of our intelligence to it. Of course, he takes the final decision. If we are able to tell him, I think with time things would be more practical and smooth for the people of the country”.

Dr. Tuffour, who is a founding Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a Member of Council of Elders, asserted he will not cover people who are still in the act of stealing in Nana Addo’s government.
Explaining further, he said that though the party has not yet seen any great signs of backbiting in the government, it is important for leadership to advise their people to refrain from such acts.
He praised the NPP government led by Nana Addo and said they have brought a great change to the lives of many Ghanaians whose hopes were lost during the time of what he said was an era of ‘incompetence’
